EASE data now available for Work NEO5A

11th Sep 2012

EASE software has set the new standard for acoustic simulation in both open and enclosed spaces.

This software is used by engineers to evaluate and predict acoustic performance in a determined area.

How does the EASE software work and why use it?

In order to use the software, it's necessary to provide information about the site (CAD, absorbtion coefficients of the surfaces, etc.) and indicate how loudspeakers react. To obtain this information, loudspeaker manufacturers need to measure precise dispertion for each model (using anechoic chambers), using as many points of reference around the loudspeaker as possible.

This valuable work allows simulation of the behaviour of a loudspeaker at any frequency and for any dimensions – this is, without a doubt, the best way to work out how to position and orientate your loudspeaker in an installation, getting optimum results.

Take advantage of EASE with your WORK loudspeakers.

Over the last months, the WORK team have been working on this project, enabling them to provide this data to customers. It is all available on the AFMG database – users who update their louspeaker library will automatically receive it.

Files can also be downloaded from the Equipson website (www.equipson.es) or through this direct link (this file only includes the EASE files released on 25/07/2012). Engineers can immediately use these files for their own projects, taking advantage of this powerful software.
