For those of you who have been wondering how Steve did on his Big Adventure, have a look here for a progress report and some photos.

Well here’s the post-event report:

First up check out PreSonAss-Version 2. This was the final version of the logo I wanted to wear. Unfortunately the officials made me take it off, something about “obstructing traffic” or some palaver...

Then look at 4am on Race Day. This is what I actually wore in the end. Less magnificent but since it was on my BACK more people saw it (because I was in front? get it?) Apologies for the squidgy eyes, but the photo really was taken at 4am after all...

Next, It's All Over Now Baby Blue. End of the ride, 210 km later, still upright, still smiling. Quite happy to see my beautiful wife waiting to drive me home though!

Finally.. I WON! Check out the medal in And The Winner Is. Out of 16,000 entrants, not bad eh? I’m sure all that “rooting” from PreSonus sent karma Around the World to help me Around the Bay.

P.S. Just to clarify, while it is true that I did win, it is also inconvenient but true that quite a few other people “won” ahead of me...But I do have a medal!
