The Difference Between Zoning and Mixing

13th Aug 2012

What is the difference between zoning and mixing? The difference is simple but not easily apparent. Zoning gives you the ability to send unique source signals and control volume to each zone independently. For example: a restaurant with one or multiple special events rooms apart from the main dining area. Each zone must be independent for special events, but would operate as part of the music system normally. Cloud can provide a simple yet versatile solution that is easy to install and simple to operate. No DSP required.
