Name: Shane Bailey Job Title: Managing Director Background: Busked my way through studying music & recording at College. Went into the MI industry with a family owned music business (Hi Hans!), went back to Uni studying Audio Engineering. Started my career in the industry in '93 working in the commercial & pro audio markets. I joined NAS in late '02… and the rest as they say, is history! Interests: Music, red wine, food, fun with family and friends (is there anything else?!) First Show: First big show I can remember is The Hooters, circa 1984, Festival Hall First Album: Thin Lizzy, Live and Dangerous (on vinyl, still have it!) Played in rock bands in the glam era of the '80s (have photos and scars, thank God I’ve lost the hair & spandex!) Worked in MI retail to pay for my new toys (guitars). '91 toured Europe in a Men at Works tribute band. Returned back to dollars/sense as sound guy & retail sales in the 90’s. In 2000 I started external sales repping in professional audio and MI wholesale. Now I’m at NAS to bring out the best in me.
